Peshawar: The DFID in Pakistan has assured the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to fully support the PTI led coalition government initiative of Strategic Development Partnership Framework (SDPF).
This assurance was given in a meeting by a delegation of DFID which called on the Chief Minister Parvez Khattak at the Pakhtunkhwa House Sunday evening.
Provincial Minister for Education Mohammad Atif, Additional Chief Secretaries, Khalid Parvez and Sahibzada Mohammad Saeed, Secretaries Elementary and Secondary Education, Health and PE&DD also participated in the meeting.
PESHAWAR: Cultural Journalist Forum (CJF) here Monday welcomed the stance of provincial health minister regarding establishment of censor board for Pashto films and termed it an appropriate step according to the prevailing conditions.
A meeting of the forum held under its president, Ehtesham Toru here Monday also stressed for setting up a temporary censer board for Pashto films till an authority for the purpose could not be established in the province.
PESHAWAR: On the special directives of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ishan Ghani, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has launched online service for solution of overseas Pakistan problems.
Through this service the issues of the overseas Pakistani regarding CNIC, Police Clearance Certificate, security concern, property dispute, complaint against police, threats letters, calls, theft, loss report or domestics violence can be solved effectively.

PESHAWAR: The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE) has registered 6829765 professional, skilled and semi skilled workers of various cadres for overseas employment from 1971 to July this year.
BEOE, an attached department of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, registered 3217611 workers from Punjab, 546912 from Sindh, 1646973 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
77007 from Balochistan, 412940 from Azad Kashmir, 6648 from Northern Areas and 313581 from Tribal Areas.
PESHAWAR: Aman Ittehad and Tehreek-e- Huqooq Hazara (AITHH) in collaboration with Umar Asghar Khan Foundation here Wednesday held a consultative conference to know the public opinion regarding proposed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Plan (LGP).
The conference was participated by former Local Bodies representatives, lawyers, civil society members, labour leaders, women folk and representatives of AITHH including Rashida Dohad, Mariam Bibi,Dr. Sarfaraz, Mukhtar Baacha and Gul Rehman.
