Countrywide Haj training to conclude on Sept 3

PESHAWAR: The ongoing extensive Haj training sessions being continued in Haji camps of seven cities from Aug 13 would be concluded on Sept 3.
An official of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Wednesday while talking to APP said over 389 training sessions would be conducted in the Haji Camps of Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, Sukkur, Karachi and Quetta simultaneously.
The training programmes are aimed to enable the intending pilgrims to perform Haj rituals with ease.
He said the informative booklets, Haj literature, video cassettes are being distributed among the intending Hujjaj free of cost.
The training is being imparted with the help of models, charts, maps, sketches, lectures and television.
The training also covers how to wear `Ahram' and observe sanctity of the holy places besides performing rituals at Madina and offering prayers at Masjid-e-Nabvi and `Salam' at `Roza-e-Rasool (peace be upon him)," he added.
The Ministry plans to administer seasonal vaccines to protect the intending pilgrims from viral diseases, he added.
He said as per directives of the Saudi authorities - the intending pilgrims would have to carry medical certificates of administering the vaccines before departing for Haj.
Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has placed the Haj flights schedule of Government Scheme on its website for the convenience of intending pilgrims, says an official of the ministry.
Talking to APP, he said any pilgrims can see his flight schedule by just submitting application number/ Computerised National Identity Cards (CNIC). The ministry has also been working to intimate the Haj flight schedule to each intending pilgrims through sending a message on their mobile phones.The intimation of Haj flight schedule through mobile message service would be started from next week. - APP
